Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a large bowl, combine ground beef, ground pork, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, parsley, garlic, egg, salt, pepper, oregano, and red pepper flakes.
- Mix all the ingredients until just combined. Don’t overmix, or you’ll end up with tough meatballs!
- Shape the mixture into meatballs, about 1 to 1.5 inches in diameter.
Cooking
- Place the meatballs on a baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes, until cooked through.
- Meanwhile, heat the marinara sauce in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Once the meatballs are done, add them to the sauce and simmer for 10 minutes.
- Serve the meatballs warm. Enjoy every bite!
Notes
For optimal flavor, toast the garlic in the sauce before adding the meatballs. Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 4 days or freeze for up to 3 months. Reheat in a skillet or microwave.
